The Times Newsaic

Should you be one of those spirits crazy enough to abide in New York City - Please take a moment to make your way to t.b.d. lounge on the corner of Franklin and Green Streets in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. There you will not only find a great atmosphere and wonderful people - but also 12 large format Newsaics (42″ x 42″ prints on canvas). This showing will be on display throughout the month of November. For those newsprint connoisseurs - you will also find several Newsaics not contained on this website.

The Times Newsaic is a serial art project that is seeking to document the year 2008 through 366 original collage works from the daily New York Times newspaper. I assure you the project is alive and well… my apologies that this website is not terribly up to date. Real life has been a whirlwind, and I have found myself inundated as of late. There is simply not enough time in my day to scan the work and manage a website in addition to the physical creation… never mind that silly thing called a ‘day job’. At any rate - thanks for visiting the site and for your support, please stay tuned for more Newsaics - The rest of April was shocking, June was whimsical, July - profound, August - bizarre, September - destructive, and October - frightening… to say the least. Whose to say what November might bring? Updates are imminent - Promise. I can not wait to share them with you.
